Tall Trees

Penny and Tony Bubb would like to welcome you to Tall Trees with its well appointed ground and first floor en-suite guest rooms with sitting areas, overlooking our much admired garden. Our twin room has its own small kitchen/dining room for those guests who would like to cook and eat in in the evening.

We are pleasantly situated in a quieter part of the village of Dersingham, about 1 mile from Royal Sandringham and about 7 miles from both historic King's Lynn and the traditional seaside town of Hunstanton.

The RSPB's Snettisham Reserve is a short drive away, as are several beaches and Natural England's Dersingham Bog Nature Reserve - deer, owls, nightjars etc. - it's well worth a visit. Sandringham House and Gardens (usually open from Easter until beginning of November) offer a splendid day out and we are surrounded by lots of lovely countryside with pretty villages and many other attractions.

Sandringham Country Park walk

In 1968 an area of 142 hectares of The Queen's private Estate at Sandringham was designated a Country Park. It has subsequently been enlarged so that today nearly 243 hectares are available for visitors to enjoy. The Park is open every day - there are two waymarked Nature Trails, one 1½ miles long and the other 2½ miles long, and there are many other woodland paths to explore - there is a map of the Country Park and its walks below. Whether you visit the Country Park in May when the rhododendrons are in bloom; in the autumn when the woods are bright with colour and the ground covered with acorns and chestnuts; or in the winter when the hoar frost may make the birch trees gleam white against a darkening sky, you will find yourself in a living landscape.
